The North-Bohemian Museum
The North-Bohemian Museum of Liberec belongs among the largest museums in the Czech Republic. The rich collections contain fine collections of primarily arts and crafts - the collection or Oriental carpets is the second largest in the CR, just as the collection of contemporary tapestry makers. Exceptionally valuable and extensive in number are the sets of Coptic fabrics, historical tapestries (the oldest exhibited tapestry in the CR is on display at the NBM), embroidered liturgical textiles, lace, glass, porcelain, smith craft, pewter, posters, old prints etc. History, ethnography and natural history are also well represented by extensive collections. There is a significant collection of more than 160 thousand negatives, of which the oldest date back to 1860. The total number of preserved objects of collection exceeds 700 thousand items.

The City Spa
The beautiful city spa building in Neo-Renaissance style with elements of Art Nouveau was established in 1901-1902 according to the project design of Viennese architect Petr Brang. The entire building, its exterior and interior ornamentation has been created for its initial purpose to serve as the city spa. The gable is decorated with a statue of Poseidon and his women, statues above windows present water games. The statues were designed by: E. Gerhart and F. Kraske. However, the building is currently closed and has been substituted by the nearby swimming pool. Thus, tourists may only admire the spa\\\'s exterior, which despite of its partial drabness still remains proof of the skilfulness of our ancestors.
The former Chamber of Commerce and Trade stands across the street from the spa. It was built in the Art Nouveau style with elements of the passing Renaissance.
Sculptures along the promenade trails
Gate of dreams and Butterfly wings - these sculptures are found in the park, in front of the pavilion of the premises of the Golf Centre Liberec. They were established in 1969 within the scope of a renowned exhibition on the city grounds - Sculpture and City 69. The Gate of dreams by Eva Kmentova and Butterfly wings by Jiří Novák now belong among the most significant works of Czech sculpture in the 60s. In 2005, both sculptures were restored by Spacium, o.p.s.
You can also find the Restaurant 1320 in the area with an interesting interior and sculptures by Jiří David.
Monument in memory of victims who fought for the freedom of their homeland - interactive monument, works with sound, air, light and text. Established in 2000 by Jan Stolín, Petr Stolín, Monika Mitášová.
The Statue of Friendship - situated in front of the entrance to the zoological gardens. The sculptor Olli Marschall created the wooden sculpture on the Dr. E. Beneš Square during the Czech-German project Dialogue, at the fifth anniversary of the partnership of the cities Augsburg and Liberec.
